Odile Decq set up her own o ce just after graduating at La Villette in 1978 and at Sciences Politiques Paris in Urban Planning in 1979. International recognition came as early as 1990 when ODBC won their first major commission, the Banque Populaire de l’Ouest in Rennes. ODBC were awarded with a Golden Lion in Venice in 1996. Decq has completed the MACRO (Museum for Contemporary Art in Rome) in 2010, the Phantom restaurant in Opera Garnier, Paris in 2011 and the FRAC (Museum of Contemporary Art in Rennes) July 2012.
