A pair of door handles designed by MAD Architects’ founder Ma Yansong, one of the worlds star Architects and the first Chinese Architect to receive a RIBA fellowship. A sinuous form provides the perfect grip for the hand, the flow of which is synonymous with Yansongs buildings. The handle takes it’s name from the Absolute Towers in Toronto where locals have labelled them the Marilyn Monroe Towers due to their curvaceous form.
Nature plays an important role in the work of Ma Yansong and his organic approach to creating futuristic sculptural buildings has brought him great acclaim. The twisted oval form and soft lines of the Marilyn door handle provide a beautifully ergonomic grip for the hand. Architecture in miniature.
